Questions, answered

What is an employer of record?

An employer of record (EOR) becomes the legal employer of your staff member in their country. It holds the employment contract and runs payroll, tax, statutory contributions and leave, while you direct the day-to-day work.

How does Tarino EOR work?

Tarino recruits your hire, then engages them through Deel's employer of record, so Deel is the legal employer in the Philippines. You pay $387 per employee per month for the service, and pay your hire's salary separately.

How much does an employer of record in the Philippines cost with Tarino?

$387 per employee per month, covering the employment contract, payroll, tax and compliance, leave management and Australian support. AUD pricing may vary slightly with exchange rates. Recruitment is a separate one-time $5,000 excl. GST.

Do I have to use the EOR?

No. It is optional. Many clients hire and pay their person directly, with no monthly fee to Tarino. The EOR suits businesses that would rather not run overseas payroll and compliance themselves.

Is there a markup on my hire’s salary?

No. You pay your hire’s salary separately and see exactly what they earn. The EOR fee is a flat monthly amount per employee, not a percentage of salary.
